thanks Nick for that. I followed you on this one just doing the haydock horses as i saw it a bit late. It can work, not sure who was the top jockey on saturday but would be interesting to check it out regularly.

The ones looking interesting to me tomorrow and with whom i might do luckys with are:

Fontwell
N D Fehily - a bit short in price but 3 to 5 out of 5 rides can place or win. Just 1 short odds win
Joshua Moore -  3 out of 3 have a chance, not easy but  possible nothing really

Uttoxeter
T Scudamore - 2 out of 4 have a good chance Just 1 decent place
Sam Twiston Davis - 4 out of 5 have a good chance. 2 wins After sleeping on it, not really with that one. A Coleman looks better but too short to interest not really
R johnson - 2 out of 3 have a good chance 1 win

Kelso
Sean Quinlan - 2 out of 3 Just 1 win

Curragh
J A Heffernan - 3-4/5  2 places
P J Smullen - 3-4/5  Just 1 poor place very short odds
W J Lee - 1-2/2 1 place larger odd

These two have potential but risky for one and too short for the other:
K J Manning - 8 rides, potential in half of them but borderline for pretty much all of them Well just 1 win in the end.....
R L Moore - 3-4/5 but rather short odds 3 wins + 1 place
Best seem to have been CT Keane with 1 win + 1 place at large odds

Nice work Scram. I have picked out Andrea Atzeni at Nottingham,  has 12 wins from 42 rides(31%) over last 14 days. Teams up with some good trainers, so a speculative 10p e/w L15.
£3 pays £497 on Bet365.

Atzeni, Andrea/30.95    Haggas, W J/27.5    Nottingham    14:20:00    One For June    9/1

Nice call indeed Nick, the patent paid 26p on 14p bet. OK it is not amazing but still a profit! with just Wilamina winning at booked odds of 20/1. Could have been a smasher with the others doing better!

Hi Scram, you did will...almost doubled your money. My bet paid out £3.48 i.e. 48p profit on a £3 stake.  Just shows how one big odds winner turns a small acca into  profit.

AP Heskin - Perth 3/3 possibly a patent   2* placed 3rd + 1 unplaced 5th
ST Davies - Perth 3/3 Patent unless both jockeys can marry each other and then maybe a lucky or treble... 1 win + 1 placed 2nd + 1 unplaced 4th

PJ Smullen - Listowel 4/7 treble e/w  2 wins + 2 placed (2nd and 3rd) + 3 unplaced
KJ Manning - Listowel 5/6 maybe Lucky or treble disaster on this one 0/6

Miss Becky Smith - Fakenham 2/2 a double? 1 win + 1 unplaced 5th

I very much like these jockey angles lads. I think there can be profit made. I might try a combo of the jockeys who always seem to have the foot to the floor like De Sousa, Probert, Mulrennan and Curtis in the coming weeks.

- beardwood Place

9p e/w = 5.58 on a free fiver voucher

let's see how that goes
well, could have been better but 2 places and a win bring back 4.12 for a cost of 58p (and a free fiver), the account is up... :)

Not to interfere, but i find Jockeys to have 4 or more winners in a row is often rare where having a treble is more consistent might be worth a trebles bet using the 4 or even using a doubles bet using the four think costs small bit extra but it would stop the cut off point then if lets say two win and the 3rd lets you down you will still get some form of payout using the doubles bet not 100% sure on how it works because i avoid accu bets but i do know if you add 4 or more horses to the bet slip it gives you a option to make it a double bet using all the available horses on your betslip

Example your bet above

4 horses
Double bet will cost 1p (6p in total)

I horse 12/1 wins and horse 5/1 wins and the other two lose you will still get back 78p if horse 9/2 wins with them two and horse 7/2 losses you will get back £1.83 if all 4 win you will get back £2.93

So why costing small bit extra you cover yourself if only one horse lets you down plus then still using the Accu 4fold option just in case a form of cover type betting on these Accu's

i never understood all that Char to be honest you bang that bet on anf only getting £2.93 yet bang a 4fold on for a penny at them odds you get £19 yet pay more for the double all strange to me i see what you saying yes but is weird how it works will never understand all that

That is why if i used Accu bets i would cover it my logic is because if one horse lets you down i rather walk away with the £1.83 still a profit because if still do the 4 fold accu you end up paying 7p in total and saves that one annoying horse let down because a profit is coming then from the other cover bet it is how i would personally do it if went for a Accu bet, but everyone is different.

Oh that is simple with a 4 fold you paying 1234 so 1 win profit moves onto 2 and 12 profit moves onto 3 where with other way it 1 plays with 2 or 3 or 3 not with and so profit will not travel like a 4 fold so end up winning more and you confusing me now but it is easy to work out just not to explain lol Sorry Nick will stop taking over the page

No worries...pleased someone is readng lol.

You make a very good point on the doubles...that makes more sense than a lucky 15, and is presumably why the bookies prefer us punters to go "lucky" as opposed to doubles.

I actually quite like a trixie...effectively 3 doubles and one treble from 3 selections.

i do not mind Lucky 15 if i am confident on something, same with Trixie the Patent is for if i confident on three horses then i get singles doubles and trebles all in one go the beauty of different bets is that it becomes a personal task of which one to side with it is all a guessing game bit like chess one move can change the entire outlook of how you put into order the horses

Apart from SDS i tend to shy away from a Lucky of any sort with a single jockey.
Won quite nice returns on a few L15 and L31 with SDS, he can carry the horses through the day.

Otherwise I prefer trebles over 6 or 7 rides if on 1 single jockey, much less risky for the positive returns.
Tried both with Moore at Ascot and the treble brought a profit, the L63 a loss, but Moore is a special case of short prices and not reliable rides for this price or it might be just his riding...

Doubles are fine as well. Sometimes I do that, but the returns can be quite small, ok they are cheap but hardly interesting unless the odds are interesting (10/1 and above).

A slightly different approach. Walsh and Mullins have a 60% s/r as a combo over last year, and Walsh is 52% s/r over last 14 days. 4 rides today at Tipperary, so doing a PLACE acca:
