Its also a tribute to you and Sean that someone like me can have so many winners using what you taught me which apart from that I know feck all about racing and horses and that

So if someone new sees me high on the leaderboard, dont go thinking Im some kind of expert or anything cos im not, just SAS taught me loads about form and jockeys etc etc, but dont mean i even know about the different types of bet. Seans guide to how he used to pick horses is still there and basically thats all you need, you dont need to know what type of grass and what they had for breakfast

btw i only just learnt that sometimes a mile isnt exactly a mile and courses differ to the stated distance cos they move the rails about

Got to be our best ever festival was very lucky on that but i will take it was a edge of your seat moment waiting for the outcome i was thinking it be a dead heat between the two which i would of been happy with because was only playing for the place money on it  could not believe it when they announced it actually won the race. Not going to play it stupid and rush load of bets on keeping it the same

All ze 7s

15:30 - Newmarket - Sofias rock - we alwayz crack on wit tiz one an was ze old timeform tracker horse zo keepz standing out 7/1 E/W

19:15 - Windsor - Kismat - waz veh unlucky not to break ze tag lto i thought waz nowt special in tha race King iz on form wit a 33% strike rate an Harley gave him a winner wit Nylon Speed ze other day worth a crack 7/1 E/W

19:30 - Redcar - Fieldsman - tut i missed ze 10s on tiz horse so annoyin tha is i noticed bet365 waz doin 10s on this earlier then ad a chat wit same bout ze race n her moanin bout a other horse in ze field then wen finally decided on it went back n the 10s was gone so annoyin tha init tiz was only beaten a neck over c&d last year n waz 10lb higher if any rain fallz at ze redcar track then we in with a good chance 7/1 E/W

Big thanks to Sam. Her big winner yesterday inspired me to pick ghost watch 14-1. I will admit my confidence has been shaken lately but she showed no fear with that pick and it would have been easy to to put my head in the sand and leave it a while but Sam doesn't on her bad days so I'm glad I gave it a go and so I dedicate that win to her

Not much to miss Pete and we will be back tomorrow with a couple more if certain horses become no runners in races we looking at and hoping for a drift on some for now just these two

Enjoyed this festival but now time to look for the next one not many festivals left between now and Christmas so we can start having some fun now with the games and with Jumps Season around the corner time to earn lots more money to spend over christmas

Note to Main Followers

starting September is when we start our Christmas pots to try earning spending money for Christmas time and the bonus of having such a good week is our aim is to not go over what we earned over the festival call it a bonus for us that

4.10 Goodwood Dancing Star - she was unbeaten at this track but once got beaten a neck let us hope she can get herself back on winning at this course now 6/1 EW

7.20 Goodwood Firenze Rosa - this drop to 5f could be just what the doctor ordered been racing over 6 but when last seen over 5f at Windsor came 2nd at a nice price hope this builds on that here only win came over 5f when beating terri riles by 3l 16/1 EW

Rememeber first one to get 10/1 enters the war games and can pick who they go against so slight change in rules you get to decide who you want to face

4.05 Ripon Indian Chief - good speed figures i think Awake my soul is a big threat in this race but if the rain comes to Ripon then that will help this horse a great deal and lot of rain is predicted over most places 12/1 EW

4.35 Ripon Bristol Missile - A hard race to work out and best avoided but i can not help but go for a pick in this i could say a few who are in with a chance but when you have a field with horses like this it is hard to be overly confident on anything all have something to show and all are capable of winning this which will explain the market tonight with the F being 5/1 this race is never won by the market leader well not in over 7 years this horse is being given every chance now 19lb below last winning mark really needs to show all he can win here beaten horses like Ice Canyon and X rated and raced with the likes of Masham Star 11/1 EW

Nicker of the Day Double

4.35 Ripon Rosy Ryan - at the odds is just hard to ignore won the race lastyear and be silly not to take a small bet at the current odds 28/1

7.30 Ballinrobe Big Bad Brian - due a good win soon this one is not going risk missing it 25/1

i goin be hangin round more often now cuz need lay off ze old booze zo i thut if i go from now till xmaz then technically i rescued me ol health in theory init zo u lot gunna be stuck with me now an i notice a few askin bout shortlists yer i will crack on with them also each nite soon cuz got plenty of time now

16:45 - Carlisle - Dontgiveuponbob - fink it is time to turn 2 fanagan dont give up on bob they say well i am shocked the entire world not given up on thiz s.o.b cuz he not bloody won a damn thing all year n only reason i hold some faith in him is the run over this course in July when nearly won the race beaten a head by Amood waz up at York last year in much better company an nearly cracked off a cheeky lil win 12/1 E/W

17:00 - Chelmsford - Just Fab - bit of a punt tiz one iz tiz time last year he waz beaten over c&d by ze Juggler by 7L and ended up 2nd is 7lb lighter now and done little since tbh that is why it is a punt but did win over this course at similar weights in may last year at bottom class Hornby booked in 1st time n e is doin well this year especially at tiz course aving a 20% strike rate 25/1 E/W

17:40 - Bellewstown - Nulife - Trainer and Jockey won this race laz year with a outsider when sending Mezzajy to thiz race and 50% of ze time a 10/1+ horse az banged in ze win ea got sum savvy speed figurez thiz had a good win on ze flat end of july but they shot it up the weights zo they prob thought letz bring it back over the ol hurdles beat sum decent horses las year Eric the Third and Touch of gold who ran pretty decent today is improvin of late n cud grab a cheeky lil place at least ah 14/1 E/W

Crack on wit these wud not get over excited bout much 2moz i notice Voodoo is going up against Mike in ze war gamez wonder who i going against not az confident tiz year like waz sayin on facebook that iz cuz ova the year av watched many good tipsters on ea zo i not feelin confident in landin it meeh

16:00 - Curragh - Turbine - how many was annoyed tha we missed turban ota day winning 20/1 ze one day we miss it because 6 bloody horse race it wins how god damn bloody annoyin meeh thiz one we wont be missin 16/1 E/W

15:05 - Newton Abbot - Sleep Easy/Solatentif - can not help but feel it one of theze winning here both av sumin to prove but both far from written out n hard to decide so am doin bothwe saved sum cash from not doin fri zo wil do not harm betting both 20/1+25/1 E/W

16:40 - Wolverhampton - Joegogo - back on same w8 wen winning over c&d in feb type of horse luana wud of knocked out tbh i fink if ad a claimer booked in she wud of done it but u no wa i like enjoy ze gamble 12/1 E/W

17:25 - Newton - Scorpian Star - i wud notm avoided sumin like this but he ran veh well over this place last start mayb sumin to be buildin on here 9/1 E/W

BIG PUNT

19:45 - Chelmsford - Brian The Snail - no secretz we av remained loyal to tiz horse init an tha loyalty paid off at ze donny in june iz takin AW debut ea n be interestin how acts on ze AW wit a savvy jockey booked in not expectin big things but am expectin sumin from this horse who waz once regarded bein special Fahey use to own tiz outright then Godolphin brought it off him he is not doing badly hope he gets tiz workin out well 40/1 E/W

Nicker of the day Treble

14:25 - Master Carpenter 12/1

3.55 Windsor Little Palaver - A very open looking race with many chances to go for this is the one for me won in a class 3 race over c&d last year beating lightening charlie who does ok now he is 20lb lighter now if you include the 7lb claimer booking jockey is 50% and trainer is in form with a 16% strike rate in the last 2 weeks 16/1 EW

5.05 Brighton Light of Air - They tried this over the hurdles on last start and did not go so well so now they moving it back to the flat over this course is a positive for me was only beaten a neck by Roy Rocket over the course during August and is only coming here 1lb higher 8/1 EW

6.30 Windsor Mystic Meg - steps up in trip should suit this horse whose sire is Camelot was competing in class one races which might been bit of a rush job be interesting type if manages to handle the extra 2f 12/1 EW

do not worry everyone sum good racin comin up jus crack on an play for bit of fun over next few weeks init

14:00 - Bath - Earthly - Bangin on ze horse tha really pishes me off not been avin ze greatest of times but is capable of turning that round ea going up in trip in a class 6 sure why not ze trainer ownz this horse iz more savvy on ze AW but he iz puttin on Havlin who is 18% 12/1 E/W

17:00 - Ffos Las - Give Em a clump - iz ze 100% horse in Nicks daily ratins decent enought speed Roland Rocks slightly better which iz worth a look tiz iz ze only c&d winner in ze field is 5lb lighter then when winning over c&d back in September jockey had a nice 32/1 double over this course a couple weeks ago and shows a 29% strike rate wen racing here it probably end up a two place race with how these cards are fallin lately meeh 8/1 E/W

17:15 - Lingfield - Noble Deed - veh hard choice tiz race was had me wantin tiz horse same wanting drop kick Murphi and 3rd pick falling at Monarch Maid which came in both our shortlists safe 2 say i won n waz tiz one we based it on in ze end good old fashioned speed figures alwayz does us well really good race tiz will be with a few others in with a shot also if we bein honest Monarch maid out the lot is the one tha is overpriced zo worth takin a cheeky look if ya want tiz zones sire is Kyllachy and tiz is savvy all over ze place aw and turf 3lb lighter than wen jus missin ze win over c&d in feb beaten by Major Assault beat Seamster over c&d off 23lb higher zzo should fly this race really ah should 11/1 E/W

18:10 - Gowran - Texas Radio - again thanx to nicks ratings i picked thiz i didn even notice it running showed can win races like this when crackin home a cheeky win in June over c&d and is around similar weights all horses in ea have a point to prove zand wit this being ze only one of two c&d winner in ze field off za similar weight i wud say it has less to prove round ea ah 16/1 E/W

4.55 Carlisle Rum Lad - stepping back down to 5f where i feel showed best work when only beaten 3L and 2l when stepped up to 6f was being beaten 5 and 7l so it is good to see them putting it back to 5f and keeps Jason Hart booking here raced at york in a class 3 and could break the tag in this race 10/1 EW

6.00 Carlisle Lucky Beggar - i would of thought to of seen this tipped on here tonight became a no running horse when last tipped on site maybe saving for this race been over a year since last is now 12lb lighter and gets the best speed figures over GCD 9/1 EW

7.30 Carlisle Snookered - a good race got the tracker horse in plus Six Silver Land and Gown all which are capable of doing it i have taken this one because the speed and i do like this horse two places out of it and now a win i say 8/1

Nicker of the day Double

6.15 Laytown Red All Star - was going well at start of season even just being denied the win when beaten under a length by Dance alone then just went down hill could return to decent ways especially now going back to further distance 12/1

6.45 Chelmsford Mr Potter - long shot horse but Richard Guest never owes us nothing paid out lot of money over the years  and is out of the handicap otherwise would used it for main stakes 20/1

4.20 Perth Green Zone - only really races around this track lately and is dropping in weight and trip for this one a distance he won by 9l over when winning over c&d 7lbs higher than this last year 20/1 EW

7.15 Chelmsford Secret Art - when racing here this year he is 1142 when over c&d that is 16 De Sousa booked in it is 12 best speed figures and does good in September 9/1 EW

14:45 - Listowel - Invincible Queen - had a fas look again n this one i missed an is of interest ea they av dropped her right down in distance for this race which is a strange move wen think lto got close to winning that race beating some decent stuff zo makes u fink trainer gone back and thought maybe is better off over this distance bangs in a 3lb claimer ze trainer is no stranger to this race either he won it twice in a row 2015 and 2016 with Jealika so he knows what sort of horse will do well ea so is of interest how sends this one who is not known 2 run over such a short distance 8/1 E/W

4.20 Listowel Jury Duty - i think Elliot really does stand a good chance of getting this race for the third year in a row, it is a race known to provide some nicely priced winners and is often best to look past the first couple normally Rogue Angel is bit too old i think but then a 11year old won it in 2014 and Rogue Angel won this in 2015 both of Elliots last winners was aged 7 and he reached for the claimer on both and this time does not feel the need something Colin said the other day made me look at the prize money and that is over 100k for this race so he would surely be wanting to earn the hat trick here and he holds some very strong horses for this race this year the two outsiders in this race surely goes to Bay of Freedom and Slowmotion but of course with A Rated being tipped up by Colin you also have to worry about that horse that is for sure 7/1 EW

8.45 Kempton Squire - Goes well over this c&d all runs here are positive 4432 with only the once getting well beaten the last start over c&d was coming 4th with todays jockey booked in and was not without chances in that race Sean calls these type of horses Christmas horses often best to catch them around Christmas time to get a win out of them but i rate the chances here 7/1 EW

Singles and EW double on these two for us

2.40 Listowel Keep Believing - you have to do that with this horse i can forgive the last run having slipped the saddle when racing at Galway the heavy going is perfect for this one having showed that when winning at Ros by 2l with the  jockey booked in today was only beaten a neck at Slingo and i am willing to forget the last run ran well at this festival last year coming second on this day in the Bar Listowel only again beaten a neck then 9/1 EW

3.35 Doncaster Adam Tiler - This race was won by a 100/1 Morning Post in 2013 and this is yet to win but placed on last start and done well in a class 3 at Windsor they must of thought this horse was good because sent it to Sandown National Stakes a class one race and was under 1l behind Kinks who i think is the potential winner for this race of course playing for the place money with 5 places they could be underestimating this horse 100/1 EW

3.50 Listowel Ocean Voyage - some interesting trainer changes with this horse i not sure what the owners was doing because the horse started well when with Fahey having a few good runs 1 win and a good place then they switched trainers to Harrington then sold the horse off without a run and moved the horse to Elliot who is a smart trainer and he must of seen something good in this horse had a 261 day break and might of just needed that first start back Elliot is on a 24% strike rate and Hayes gets the ride here new distance i do like this one for the future 12/1 EW

4.40 Doncaster Kyllachy Gala - Was tempted myself with Another Eclipse but the weights is really putting me off that horse and i seen it tipped on here and wish you all the best with it because the Atzeni booking certainly makes it stand out but i am going for this one here spent lot of the year racing over the AW but does like being on the turf and the good to soft going should be fine he raced well on the soft in the past and is also dropping in the weights and with Ryan Moore riding then it should really go well 11/1 EW

3.35 Doncaster Nelson - They have made this a pacemaker type horse which is just wrong because this could of been a good horse in his own right let us not forget this horse beat Kew Gardens by 3l and was only beaten a neck by Roaring lion i think they making big mistakes with this horse because if given the chance it is a very good horse which is a shame to see it being used to make rubbish horses look good 100/1 EW

meeh trust me to put ze 20/1 in ze treb n patent n not singles meeeh i jus goin blame u ang cuz ya their k loool

tbh wit ya if it waz not for ze fact we hardly spent any money this month i wuda banged these in a multi bet but because not really spent nowt takin them for ze singles nothing that makes me go wow i need to mention that one

16:30 - Hexham - My Wigwam or Yours - a good old fashioned punt tiz one iz n like we said it often before we not made ze money by bein chicken once rated a 140 horse one time he was bangin up newbury leaving 15 other horses 16l behind him is 19lb below that now and really should just be banging in races at tiz level he is really being given a huge break here and a big chace to capture his moment even if he never can again the trainer does well over here showing a plus £16 an he is no fool especially with these older horses he knows how to train winners like tiz and the booking of Kington who also does well over this course is also standing out i wont be holding much hope n wil take it on ze chin but wel worth a punt 80/1 E/W

16:40 - Brighton - Duggary - i backed tiz lto one them las min betz n ad ze place out it one better maybe now 7/1 E/W

20:20 - Kempton - Jacob Cats - fink tiz horse is wicked should not be winnin but can certainly be placing ea been going off n doin well may i add in class 2 races at Goodwood banged off a win over c&d last year an was weighted much higha than 2 day could be a shocker of a win from tiz one 22/1 E/W

21:00 - Kempton - Arlecchino's Arc - past cup dayz i been seein plenty of horses i av backed in ze past winning an i am hopin this one will get ze job done 2day wicked speed etc can go well 16/1 E/W

3.10 Redcar Kentuckyconnection - very first win came over c&d good speed and they have put a 7lb claim in raced in a class 3 over c&d in June and was 5th out of 14 takes a drop in class for that missed going to York ground not suited this be a good race for him to have a chance to win 14/1 EW

3.20 Yarmouth Tyrsal - long time since had a win but holds the best speed figures here over GCD spent most of the season running over this course and placed 3rd over c&d in May they have booked in the claimer and it is a matter of when not if this one wins around here not the sort of horse i would be willing to keep investing in but this time around i will be a case of hoping for the win then drop it off the list 11/1 EW

3.50 Yarmouth Case Key - the right price to try would not bother with it is anything below 7/1 but at current price i will be giving it a try good speed figures here was 2nd here last year just beaten by half length in a class 4 race so a drop in class was beaten a head at thirsk in June then stepped to class 4 again should be enough 9/1 EW

What do you two think of that interview with Neil Channing, i rate you two being some of the best profit makers per year and something he said stood out

I could go without having a winner for several days in a row and once you’ve done that for a while you don’t worry about losing streaks.

now i notice you two do that often never panic when on the losing runs and always stick to what doing, the trackers is a big example of this looking at the profit went over the 2 week losing streak and recently went over a few days yet the profit is still up maybe that is the key sticking to the 8+ horses and going for it

Hi Desmond sorry was not ignoring you we had a mini rest due to nothing really running all week that was any good.....I think anyone can be a professional successful gambler if they follow basic rule NEVER change your stake, always be willing to learn, never think your the best and shut out anyone elses opinion never be afraid to take a gamble and follow your instinct and ALWAYS except you going to have losing days and NEVER EVER chase lost money.

The best example of this i can highlight is 18+ room how many times have we seen Nick get on with it and go to the very bottom of the board but he just sticks to what he trusts never adding more never adding less always sticking to it and one or two wins sends him to the very top of the board again

Losing streaks keeps you going keeps that thrill of winning, we love having losing days because then when we win and our money goes past what we lost that excitement is worth it, if was all win win win would you really enjoy it i certainly would not many ways in this world to make the money but without that risk knowing you could lose your money then it becomes boring well for me anyway some you win some you lose it all adds to that gamblers rush so the answer is yes he is right i stopped worrying on losing streaks a long time ago like Sean says brush yourself off and move onto the next day win or lose

Instead of a lucky 15 we doing two lucky 31 because some good races and we not had a bet most the week

FOCUS BET OF THE DAY
3.50 Ayr Brian the Snail - We both still sticking with this horse Fahey really does rate this one and admits he does not know what is going wrong it should be winning races but is just not managing too which is a shame this horse is becoming like the Traffic Fluide horse and we all know how that ended in two good wins so our sticking to them works because they end up paying out more than spent on them and since we last won on this horse we have only been spending what we earned on it so it is not costing us anything to follow it again today when look at it like that Godolphin brought this horse off Fahey who owned it out right and they have kept onto the horse which shows hope they have reached for Garritty won over soft going in the past and yet to be tested over the heavy going is only 1lb higher than when winning at Doncaster in June which is a change on the turf having suffered a big rise up 40/1 EW

ITV Sure thing

1.45 Mountain Angel 5/1
2.40 Private Matter 33/1
3.15 Gypsy Spirit 12/1
3.30 Sioux Nation 6/1
3.50 Growl 9/1

ITV Longshot

1.45 Master the world 25/1
2.40 Maarek 28/1 (one for the old school)
3.15 Glass Slippers 7/1
3.30 Gracious John 25/1
3.50 Get Knotted 20/1

6.45 Wolverhampton Indian Affair - good speed figures around here and a previous c&d winner 12/1 EW

Losing streaks keeps you going keeps that thrill of winning

Only recently have started doing the day-by-day play and have gained so much more respect for the DbD players on here because have found it not only hard to pick a horse each day but to also show a profit at the end of it, i am not a man use to losing streaks because i was always a random gambler so won more than i had lose on me i have grown to use the wording "my only bet of the day" which will highlight when it is a strong bet from now on, i have also found that "losing streaks keeps that thrill of winning" is very true i noticed myself paying more attention to it all since i got into doing it daily than i would of normally in the past, in the past i was always oh that won or that lost and did not think on it now when i win after having a couple of nags lose on me that excitement is back was up the pub the other night and a horse won and i got fist pumped the air been a long time since done that over a win so i do see what you are saying above.

Hats off to people like Ubik, You three (i include ice with you two) ,  18+ and  Henyas Steve etc for all showing profit after 3 months of playing it almost daily because it is bloody hard to do

I think Kelly has to take a lot of credit, cos since she started the leaderboard, it shows you whats REALLY going on with your betting. Its all to easy to think oh yeah I had a 16-1 winner but the truth is if your other bets lost, then all that profit is gone. And people on forget that and just keep thinking i had a big winner im doing great. (racecaller muppets good example)

so kellys leaderboard of truth helps me focus, it aint about being top as i thought at first, its about are you in profit?

And theres no substitute for hard work and studying. Ive learnt the hard way that more often than not if you dont put the time in, you might as well throw the cash away out the window.

Its a mental game and if you have an addictive personality you have a fight on your hands.
Those that can stick to their bets they researched and not do any quickies will do well. but bookies now that a lot of people will bet again as soon they have won or lost.
Key to this game is research, place your bets and leave it then till the next day. If you can do that and be honest with yourself and not bet if nothing stands out, you will do well. So i respect those with self control who maybe only place a couple of bets a week or even a month, be happy with whatever the result is and stick to their system

That is what i wanted for people to be able to see they are doing well that is why gave people the options of joining in or not.

I also wanted certain people like Sean and Sam to see are they better off doing singles on everything or better at doing multi bets which so far is mixed they in a plus if followed all on singles but in plus if done it how they type out so might start a multiple leaderboard in the new year.

It is a shame i did not start it at the start of the year because the board be completely different outlook more so with Voodoo who had so many winners yet in three months it looks like he does not lol so i be interested in seeing how it looks once it been running for an entire year. The leaderboard is fun but also to help people see reality the best thing a gambler can ever do is have a honest book of themselves.

OLBG shows a profit board their best tipster is £2000 in a year at £10 stakes ours is £1 stakes and you Will at £10 stakes are close to beating their best in 3 months enough said on that..........
