1 Random POINTS on Wed Aug 23, 2017 1:45 pm

Theydon Grey (4.15)
Georgia Cox holds a 31% strike-rate (4-13) at the course and is booked to ride William Haggas's charge Theydon Grey.

Roger Varian saddles High Command at Kempton (8.15) on Wednesday. The 4yo was third over today's course and distance and holds strong claims.

Jeremy Noseda is in fine form with an 80% strike-rate (4-5) in the past 14 days. He saddles debut winner Lansky in the 2.25 at York tomorrow.

Cliffs Of Moher (3.35)
Derby runner-up who was badly hampered in the Eclipse; looks capable of a big run.

Lincoln Rocks 10-1
EBF Fillies' Handicap, 4.50

Not the freshest in the line-up, given she has been on the go since May, but is the class performer in the contest having won a Listed contest at Pontefract in July and should relish the rain-softened ground. Giving away bundles of weight, she'll have to be at her best, but she is extremely consistent and David O'Meara does notoriously well at this meeting.

Ronald R 11-1
Clipper Logistics Handicap, 3.00
Three-year-olds have a good record in this and Ronald R, the only member of the Classic generation in the field, has a good profile. His second in the Britannia is an excellent piece of form and I'd forgive him his run next time in a smaller field at Newmarket. A strong-run race will suit and the booking of Ryan Moore is obviously a bonus

Actress 100-30
Sky Bet Lowther Stakes, 2.25

Aidan O'Brien has never won the Lowther Stakes but Actress can provide him with a first success in the Group 2 for juvenile fillies. She is the most experienced filly in the field, having her eighth start, and she has even managed to hold her own against the boys of late. She appears to be getting better with every run and it will take a big performance from one of the home team to stop her in her tracks.

When Warren Greatrex and Harry Banister join forces at Chepstow they hold a 57% strike-rate. They team up with Reilly's Minor in the 2.45.

Fantasy Queen is a filly to follow at Chepstow as her course record reads 11513. She attempts to maintain her decent record in the 3.10 on Thursday.

Fleur Forsyte (4.15)
James Fanshawe's charge finished 3rd of 14 at 40-1 in Listed race at Newmarket latest and is improving.

Intellect bolted up on his handicap debut last time and could be anything, but this often goes to something who ran well at Glorious Goodwood and the one who stands out in that respect is Winston C. Michael Bell's colt earns the vote as he was doing all his best work at the finish over 1m4f and will relish the step up in trip.

Cardsharp shoulders a 3lb penalty for his July Stakes success which means Invincible Army should at least finish much closer to him, but the pair to concentrate on may be Headway and Nebo. The latter came out on top when they met at Goodwood this month and can confirm the form.

An in-form, unexposed sort with a high draw is preferred and Flymetothestars gets the vote. Third in the Northumberland Plate last time, he must go well if as effective on turf. Ivan Grozny and Dubka are feared most, while Arch Villain is best of the outsiders. He's hardly unexposed and hasn't run for more than a year but he fits plenty of trends and goes well fresh.
