THE GAUNTLET

I actually had lot of people ask me when this is coming lol so here it is now here is the rule.

You got basically get the most consecutive wins day by day, you allowed odds on the lot one single horse a day and it is last man/woman standing going be one the hardest games ever to play on sudden death can only be one winner.

You need to hit 10 days straight of winners  to break the challenge

You can not have a day off once you start playing you have keep doing it every day if you miss a day your score gets reset back to 0 it hard enough getting 2 winning days how you ever going get 10 in a row but few of you wanted to play it so here it is, just need say horse name and time of race no need say odds because if wins does not really matter what the odds are

MY FIRST PICK
2.30 Placebo Effect

Seranda is interesting in this race she holds a Group 1 pass into the Qipco Fillies stakes at Ascot they must rate her highly infact going tip that up in my main section with write up i talked myself into a main bet on that looking more into her

Remember on facebook them challenges use be a big hype at one time 10-1000 challenge etc i going try break that challenge soon starting on £1 and keep turning it over like this but seeing if can hold your nerve because when it builds up to £50 and so on you kind of not so brave to risk it on one bet how long can you hold your nerve is one of them things you wont answer till got do it i would bottle it probably also lol

Again Nick :P
Autumn leaves looks attractive for a win...
It looks like it is between the 2 of us at the moment with 2/10 going for a 3rd day in a row...
Other that have not yet started their series can start at anytime I believe (gamemistress Kelly to confirm)

OK I will pick a different one...
Beverley 1 - Our little pony Lost
That'll teach me (again) for picking a Novices race..

Good luck Nick!

Nearly but think of it like this the poor people who would of put hundreds of pounds onto this bet wont be sat thinking oh well tonight lol because for it to open at 1/2 and only slight drift to 4/7 in a 10 horse race on a Friday someone really put bit of money onto it

Tried it once Bill but i chickened out when got to 7/1 had spend £840 and i chickened out do not think anyone in right mind would do it fully less they super rich even then i think it is silly lmao

Not many people do it do not think bookies would pay it out because it is over 6 million to get the 10/1 winner so never heard it ever completed anyone who says they have are liars because that is something that be reported about lol

Same, i have a rule i would not spend more than 20 on a horse and then it got be special and a each way, if i won a million tomorrow i would still spend the same so i know i would chicken out after had a 6/1 rollover win resetting the stakes

Good point Bill.  I have a system based on highest rated Racing Post Horse (RPR) lowest forecast odds, strike rate 60%, but odds are usually very poor. Longest winning run I have had is 10, but I have also had losing runs of 7. Almost impossible to back and make any money. My data shows a profit of £300 to bets totalling £4500. Needless to say I don't back them!
The system picked Sharja Bridge for Friday (won), but i tried to be clever and went with Hence. Serves me right!

Well done today Bill on the Fiver Challenge.  And I followed you today, and made a few quid, so I owe you a pint!

i am pleased someone gained something out of it, i always try my hardest on the Friday and take it very serious during the challenge and place the bet knowing then if someone follows they have full faith that i have taken it very serious before posting it.

Think the shorts are good if you going to filler them into a double but more often than not they are going to let you down about 20 years ago i followed shorts then noticed was never really getting anything the good days would not pay for the long losing days soon changed my betting habits, that is why i like the section you and Scram do very open to different ways not being afraid to try a different angle instead of looking for that win the easy way that you often find in many people

yup deffo tru i always said to ppl like sam on facebook in private that  Scram and Nick are the best on here in my opinion the H.O.F shows that scram won challenge 3 times in a row, nick and scram battled it out this week best tipster turned you and Voodoo over  i remember wen me and Sam first saw Scram on racecaller an watched him and we always said about how good he actually was and since Nick came around they got 10 times better you work on their stuff to set stakes they turning some very good money you take that 150/1 placer on set stakes plus the 3 20/1 winners in the same week that is over a grand on £80 on just the 4 bets that iz proper money

I agree with this, i sometimes throw a good double together and get lucky but lot more effort is put into the 18+ and Rating part because you need to do more leg work me i just old fashion handicap which is about 5 - 10 minutes lot more in depth study in that section.

Sometimes you need to think outside the box take Hugh Taylor old school views on picking a horse then you put him next to Tom Segal his modern views both good at what they do you put them together they would make one hell of a team, think that is what this game needs you need two very different people with different out looks working together, many go in it alone and that is a big mistake i learned

they wud be a proper killer team but they in it for the popularity and money from companies which is a shame because if they was private and lived off what they earned instead huntin popularity they would of made a brilliant combination on a forum trouble with that type is they so far in the bookies/wages pockets it is hard to know when to actually trust what they saying anymore i have often found flaws in some of what they saying i never trust anyone who is getting paid either way they not going lose money on their tips because they going get paid either way

Same here, i like reading what they have to say but would i sit and follow a horse because they tipped it up no which is a shame because they know so much but like you say it is no bother to them win lose or draw.

Think you need to move all these to the lounge part i keep forgetting about that section lol
